I was trying to limit myself to not posting until the last piece of trip report is finished, but it's taking more work/mental energy than I seem to have.
And then I see something which can't wait.
Clergy being asked/trained to "quell dissent" in event of martial law
I can't think of anything coherent, save that it might be time to make sure one has lots of powder to keep dry.

Date: 2007-08-27 10:13 am (UTC)I thought I'd caught a sniff of this from somewhere - sad to see it backed up by a more reasonable source. Not that I'm terribly surprised, but in the current climate I'm not really sure what would surprise me.
*shrugs*
Food, powder, and - in the north - plenty of firewood.
