I bopped over to your Flickr photostream and was enjoying the wonderful pictures. I'm struck by the many locations given. Do you travel in association with your photography work?

It's more a case of I do photography work in the course of my travel. A lot of the photos are the result of my being sent places for work (the Galapagos being a notable exception).

The camera goes with me pretty much everywhere, and photos are the result. I don't know if you use the map function, but doing that will show you a pretty good list of where I've been in the four years since I got the digital camera. Someday I'll scan more slides, which will add more of the US, and some of Iraq/Kuwait.

I remember, now. (Especially since I just peeked at your profile.) I tend to forget the background details for some of the people on my friends list, remembering you more for what you say in your posts and how you come across in them, than in terms of life story. (I'm also bad at names in Real Life, and I'm always making an effort to do better with both.) Which maybe gives me an opening to mention how much I appreciate your thoughtful posts. :)
