Saturday I will be at LosCon.

Monday, I will be leaving for Grafenwör, in Bavaria. I'll be out of contact (so far as I can be certain) until the middle of December.

I have many memories of Grafenwöhr, not all of them terribly fond ones, but better than my memories of Hohenfels. FWIW, there is a library with internet access that I was able to avail myself of now and again. Good luck, especially with trying to stay dry.

You're going to Graf in November and December? Take your thermals, your warm jammies, and enough budget for serious anti-freeze! I've DONE field exercises there in winter . . .

Yeah.... up to last week I was more worried.

But it looks like (because of why I am going) this is going to be STX and CPX. So it's indoors at night. Can't have the guests freezing.

But I still have the warm woolies in the bag.

Layers bay-be!, it's all about layers.
