A "hacker" threatened to destroy a guy's computer, all he needed was the IP addy.

The guy gave it to him.

127.0.0.1

Those who recognise the address can see where this is going.

If you follow the link you can see what happened. Summation, he sent a format command, and it went to 127.0.0.1.

Yes, I got that part.

I was making a reference to a t-shirt that says, "There's no place like 127.0.0.1..."
