Ok, here's the deal. I'm going to be writing more of the technical food porn.

Mostly it's because I'm drafting the book.

Which means I'm going to be removing it from the purely public forum.

Straight/pervy/kinky foodie-porn will still be wide open.

So, for those who want to read/provide feedback, I'll be making a filter.

If you interested in being behind it, comment.

I'd enjoy being on the filter. As far as feedback goes, what kind and how much do you want? (I'm a compulsive editor, but I try to restrain myself unless it's specifically requested.)

I'm looking at clarity. House style will cover some things.

I'm a so-so typist (learned OJT as a reporter... typing was useful, but a pencil covered a mulltitude of sins).

Does the text (and or illos) make the thing being discussed clear?

Did you try it, and find it useful, or was it touch and go as to whether you were going to lose body parts?

Those are the things I want to know.

I have the same question. I always restrain myself from editing unless I am asked to edit, but since I make my living as an editor (mostly copyediting, but some substantive), I would want to know what you want.
