pecuniumToday is being less than ideal. I need to get to the VA for some stuff. Les has things she needs to do which keep her from being able to drop me anyplace conducive.
Which wouldn't be a big deal, except the the horrid pain of yesterday being abated to pulsing, not constant, closing of the vise.
Which means I am planning to grab a cab to Caltrain, and then the VA in Palo Alto
Getting there isn't too much hassle, because the buses out of Palo Alto are pretty reliable. Gettting back is likely to be more of a pain. If anyone happens to be able to ferry me from the general neighborhood, I'd be really grateful.
I don't know how long ortho is going to take, and I need to see optometry too, so it's a later in the afternoon thing, and I can hie me to into Mountain View and amuse myself at Red Rock Coffee
I'll be leaving here, in about an hour, and I'll be taking the computer with me. I'd put my phone in, but then I'd have to lock the post, and that seems counter-productive.
It's not a huge deal to manage this myself, but it would be easier; and more comfortable, to not be dealing with buses and cabs all day.
