Dropping off the net

In a little while Marna and I are heading west. I don't think I'll have any conectivity to the net until Saturday evening, at the earliest. If I keep my scheduled tinerary tonight [i.e. Thursday] in Algonquin Park, tomorrow in N. Bay, Sat. I cross back into the States, Sunday I get to Rhinelander, and mid-day Monday I get into Minneapolis.

So, dinner Minneapolis/meeting of various friends is possible, but I won't be able to confirm plans (and I have no idea of where to go, etc.) until Saturday, or Sunday. I do expect to be online midday Monday, at the latest.

Our guest room is available in Minneapolis, if you'd like a place to stay. Certainly we can organize a dinner expotition. DDB has good suggestions for dinner, all ones we would make. (What don't you[se] eat?) We can also have one of those oft written up minnehaha dinner parties if you want to show off and make a course, or just be feted.

I should love to stay with you. I don't know (for all that I packed knives) how much cooking I feel up to, so planning on a meal out would be the safer solution.
