Two from John Stewart
Aug. 21st, 2009 07:59 pmBill O'Reilly never really learns that messing with a comedian, esp. one with both a bully pulpit, and a sense of righteous indignation, isn't the best course of action.
Worse, he did it after the Daily Show took Fox to school.
Fox News, the new liberals.
Then we have Glen Beck. He has been making the pitch that reforming the healtcare mess will be "giving up the best healthcare in America." The best part, he's is one of three things, a hypocrite, a liar, or both.
A while back he had surgery; he didn't have a good feeling about our healthcare system then. Again, John Stewart serves a cold dish of crow.

Date: 2009-08-22 01:30 pm (UTC)That would be my workplace. Which means the trick I need is to be able to make the point without pissing them off, because pissed-off people just tune you out rather than thinking about what you said.
Note for record: I like these co-workers despite their preference in news sources.
