Date: 2009-08-19 11:13 pm (UTC)He did more harm to the interests of the United States, and the world, with his pen than armies have done with their weapons; in no small part because what he wrote convinced people to loose those armies, and then to keep them in the field.
He was the button man for outing Valerie Plame and undoing twenty plus years of network building in monitoring the flow of unranium ore in Africa.
While I feel for his family, it would have been better had he died 20 years ago.
