Imagine him being elected. Imagine him being in office for 16 years.
Imagine he was a Republican.
His name was Pete McCloskey and he's part of why I am going back to Calif., because (apart from the Pombos, the Cunninghams and the Feinstiens), I know a lot of Californians like him.

When I mutter about responsible Republicans, he's one of the ones in mind.
(I have to wonder how the right wing will react to this, given that the review suggests the documentary errs on the side of saintliness for McCloskey and "Thou shalt not speak ill of another Republican" aka the Eleventh Commandment.)
