Torture is a Moral Issue
May. 27th, 2009 04:40 pmThere will be a two-day seminar: Torture is Moral Issue at the end of June.
I'll be participating. Feel free to spread the word.
The organisers are trying to line up recording. If that happens, I will let people know how to get a copy.
If you have an excuse, the costs are reasonable (esp. since this is not a group with a huge budget).

Anecdote: The British squaddies are prone to whomping on prisoners. We got (back in Desert Storm) a general, whom the Brits had captured. He was pissy. Wanted to be treated like a General. So we did.
He sang like bird.
