Gulls on the wing, but gulls on land -- tell us true, now. Have you EVER encountered anything more whiney in your life? Gulls are NEVER satisfied. No matter how much garbage they've scarfed all day, that they can't even fly, they howl to all and sundry, "I'm hungry! I'm starving! I can't get anything to eat! Everybody else is eating, but I'm not! It's not fair! Me! Me! Me! Food Now!"

There's one in Quebec that I particularly recall.

Rock Doves, acclimated to city life.

And it's not true of all gulls, just the one's which are willing to do what the, aformentioned, pigeons do, and tolerate lots of people.
