A few more
Mar. 5th, 2011 11:37 pmUse makes master, and habit is a potent thing too, so having started to work on photos again, I find working on them to be more likely (now if I could just find the power cable to the drive which has most of my photos on it... I only have about 1/3rd of my backstock of images available to me right now. It's really frustrating. I have stuff up to about 2006, and from about June of last year. Everything else is in limbo).
Sunburst

This one is just a wonderful piece of color. The contrast of the latent seedhead, with it's dark hair (which is reminiscent of the pod which opens to become the flower) is a nice piece of counterpoint, and focus.

I keep trying to capture something about plum blossoms. So far I've never managed to quite translate it to the image. This one is closer than many.
'60s slide

This one was just playing about with the image. Pretty much all I did was dial up the sharpening, and the saturation seemed to drop, as well as the contrast. A lot like poorly exposed Ektachrome from the late '60s, early '70s.
