The American Family Association, Online is doing another poll (remember them, Wildmon's group, who decided they weren't, after all going to submit the results of their poll on gay marriage and civil unions).
This one is one who one favors for president.
So, being the dutiful little information junkie I am, I went to see the thing, and duly registered my opinion.
Then I had to do the anti-bot deal, because, "In order to prevent the use of automated scripts to skew poll results, a security feature has been added."
Then I got to see the results, to date (about 48 hours after I got the info).
Whom do you favor for the next President of the United States?
John Kerry 89.52 % 55,006 vote(s)
George Bush 4.09 % 2,516 vote(s)
Ralph Nader 6.38 % 3,922 vote(s)
Total: 61,444 vote(s)
I suspect that, since I got the e-mail, which I know they most probably sent to that e-dress from the last poll of theirs I answered, that no small number of others, who would otherwise have not know of this one, have been kind enough to grace them with response.
I'm not sure if I wish people had skewed the results for Bush (that complaisance might set it; then again looking at the campaign to date...) or not.
After all, they might deicide was the same malcontents who ruined the last one, and so discount it altogether.
But I do wonder if anyone there stops to ponder the results of their actions.
