Comentary is pissing me off.

NPR is airing the SOTU.

The woman speaking just bought into the President's Social Security story. Praise for her saying privatize, but she said the Dems need to put up an alternative proposal.

Which is giving in. The System isn't broken. It isn't even that ill-structured.

But she just conceded his position... if it needs to be fixed then it's unwell.

All the Dems need to do is stand up and say, "There is no Crisis."

Isn't the right wing motto "Create a crisis"?

And if the Dems don't say "There is no crisis"..once again, they're getting beat on very simple plays from the playbook..sigh.

No, if we say there is no crisis, and then point out the things I say below, we win.

We don't need to reframe this debate, we just need to make it stick to the facts, and refuse the emotional language that debating how to fix something that isn't broken.

If we debate how to fix it, we lose.
