More time out of the look

A week of brain fry is certain to follow. This is another planning conference for the Ukrianian mission I hope (expect, but I've learned to keep my expectations to a minimum, at least as far as the Army is concerned).
I wasn't supposed to be going to this. Nope. Ukraine was supposed to supply the translation. Ukraine, however, is a trifle busy right now, and so we got tagged. The last one had about a dozen linguists. This one has two. EUCOM is being stingy, Calif. is being stingy, and the time line meant (even if more money had been kicked loose) the AF guys were not likely to be tappable.
So two is the number of the counting, and 30 the number of those counting us. We've no idea if that means 30 Russian speakers, or 30 attendees.
I've no idea, therefore, as to whether I'll have much access. Which means (since I will be in Joshua Tree from next Saturday to Monday, and perhaps until Tuesday [feel free to join us] I may not be able to check in more than once or twice.
