Mount St. Helens let off a little steam today.

And I want some ash... not much, say 15-25 lbs.

I want it for glazing pots.

So, if anyone is able to get me some, in the next few weeks, before it gets contaminated, I will be more than happy to pay the postage, and some small (or not so small) object of gratitude the other way.

It will probably be ceramic, but maybe not.

We would do it for you (awesome excuse to take the motorcycle up some twisty roads), but they're not really letting anyone near it. Looks like she might blow again. And insomnia is right, it was a very light ash cloud, mostly just steam.
