Route planning
Jul. 11th, 2010 10:24 pmIt is my present intent to leave Tennessee on the 19th, and stay somewhere in the DC area. I think about five people have expressed an interest in seeing me as I pass through.
So I am opening the floor to suggestions; realising I am looking for something in the early eveing, in/around DC/Silver Spring. Depending on where I'm staying/when I get in, the Metro may be a factor.

Date: 2010-07-13 08:22 am (UTC)I don't have any space here, can't put you up, but I definitely want to see you if at all possible.
Mandalay is seriously da bomb. Only one thing: as you will guess from the name it's actually Burmese, not Malay/Indonesian. Otherwise, the description is spot on.
If you get a chance, call or email. (If you don't have my phone #, it's at the bottom of just about every page at jossresearch.org, along with a crudely encrypted version of my email address.) If you don't get a chance, I will try to stay in the loop here.
Best
