About Mr. Coren
Apr. 23rd, 2009 04:28 pmAs you might imagine, he's been having a hard time of it. Think about it. I got upset. I'm not a Canadian soldier.
It seems a few people on his side of the aisle also think he was a bit over the top.
My favorite response to him, is this one (which was MUCH more restrained and understated than anything I was able to write).
Dear Michael
It's nice to know that there are still men out there who believe that women are precious. We need more people to speak out and tell women that, honestly, they do not have the ability to make adult choices or handle being in dangerous situations. They need to accept that men are the ones who should be contributing to civil society, not them. It is our job to stand behind our men, bravely feeding and clothing them so that they can continue building the proud edifice of western liberal democracy. It's the true north strong and free, not the true north pretty and free!
Go read the whole thing, it gets better.
