pecuniumFree Credit Report.com had a new ad, starting about a month ago, which was sort of cute. Guy with a guitar singing at a "Jolly Roger" sort of seafood shack. The lyrics were half-stupid, but it wasn't horrible.
Not so the one which seems to have started last week.
Same guy (not a bad gig, and how many pleasant voiced guitar players are there in the casing pool?) is singing, but this time it's not some schmuck "stealing" his ID. No, this time it's his wife. She, you see, didn't tell him she'd defaulted on a credit card.
As a result they are living in her folks' basement.
The subjtext was ugly, but no, they had to go and make it overt; it ends with him saying that, had he used Free Credit Report.com, he's be a happy bachelor in better digs.
That's right, if she has bad credit, he would have foregone the partner he describes as, "perfect."
Fuck 'em.
