One step forward.
Nov. 8th, 2006 10:19 amHalf the battle. "Bouncing the box" (i.e. restarting the computer) allows the new Firefox to load pages. Some things aren't working right.
For example, even though I wanted this page to open in a tab, it opened a new window, and the other window has a slew of blank tabs, I am not allowed to close any of these "undefined" pages, and once they appear, nothing is allowed in the defined tabs (I had to reopen this page to do this, because I tried to open a new tab).
I also have those same "new tabs" opening in the same new window, so that things get paged past (luckily I have this saved in the clipboard, or I'd be rewriting it).
Feh, redux.
