God's in His heaven...
Oct. 8th, 2006 01:17 amI wish all were right with the world, but at least some things are as they should be... The Yankees, again, choked in post season play.
So they continue to bull their way into the post season, and then lose it (because the bats may be there, but the pitching ain't) just as they have all century.
I don't know if the Mets will beat my beloved Dodgers (and I don't know where they went, up to the wire they were in the game, and now... they held their own in the first game, but the second was sad), but it's ok. They played a great season, with a crowd of rookies eating up the field. I can, even if their season ends tonight, look back on this one with happines, and forward to next year with antcipation (and a hope that Brad Pinney gets traded away).
Besides, the Yankees lost.
