I saw this in
lighthorse76's journal.
It's a fan film of a light saber duel.
As he says, it's really good. I've done some choreography for stage, and that's hard enough. Add the close up work in this short (about five minutes) and the challenge increases. There are a couple of places where one might think, "Ooh! he had him!" but I can let that slide, because I've seen myself on tape when sparring (and watched lots of my friends while they were sparring) and lots of those perfect chances are only seen from the calm of the sidelines.
The piece is tight. I saw the fight's finish coming, but I don't think they were tyring to hide it, and they carried it off. There's some schlocky bits, but you know what, there were some schlocky bits in the films, so I can't fault that either.
Go, watch it and enjoy.
