Ooh! Pick me! Pick me!
Jan. 13th, 2006 09:11 amI just put my name on this mailing list.
It's for the Stardust probe (assuming she doesn't pancake). They have so many collectors, each only likely to have a few dozen specks of dust on them, that they are distributing the work, by means of a virtual microscope, and asking people who have some spare time to do the eyeballing of the samples.
I can make some time for that (although the phrase, When the Stardust spacecraft returns to Earth later this week (Sunday) seems less than well constructed to me, I shan't hold that against them, too much).
