I tended to identify myself as middle of the road, then I was a liberal republican, but the past four years have radicalised me, and, as you saw, I am now calling myself a liberal.
I'd like to see both parties move a bit more left, so I can once again be a centrist.
As for safe... I wondered at the lack of Kerry/Edwards signs in the neighborhood in Arcadia. Maia brought some down to her folks, and they put them out on Friday morning.
Saturday morning they were gone. So were three others, which had been visible on Friday.
