pecuniumI'm home again... the trip back was all right... in that way which can only be experienced by enjoying 36 hours of Saturday in a single rising and setting of the sun (well, no, the trip home let me watch the sunrise twice in one day... once over Osan Korea, and once over the island of Hawaii; no I didn't get off the plane).
But it did give me a chance to look and see how many people are stopping off here. I know (and have known for some time) it is more than have me listed as LJ friends. I know this in part because a friend who doesn't have an LJ discovered that LJ was kind enough to give me an RSS feed. I don't know if there is anyway for me to track that.
So, for curiosity's sake I started sticking a statcounter on my pages... and it seems I have about 120 readers I know of, and about that many again who read it as well.
And they come from Iran, and the UK, and Australia, and Russia and Germany. I've had hits from Taiwan.
It's better than the Crush Meme, though I still want to know who the other four are.

Date: 2005-02-16 12:02 am (UTC)Hmm....you can track your RSS feed through your friends list...although you already basically have that on your main page. ;) I don't personally know how to tell who exactly is reading a syndicated account, although if you look on a syndicated LJ main page (such as this for Get Fuzzy), you can see the total number of readers. Of course I don't know why someone would link your syndication if they're on LJ. Maybe I misunderstand?

Did you find out? I can't recall if I came clean, but I certainly do have a small crush on you - of course with my recent comment spamming after a period of inactivity may be suspect, heh? I'm not stalking you, rest assured. I am almost (just a month or so left) caught up with you however, so things will be back to teh regularly scheduled commenting.... ;)

And now I know one more of the crush holders. Still have a couple to go (though I have been persuaded that my writing is able to get people interested in me, which still seems odd, though it oughtn't).
