Playing with tools
Jan. 10th, 2009 03:01 pmI decided to take a stab at the uploading tool.
I think, on balance, much as I would like to be able to share the shooting data, the benefits of the tool outweigh that loss. It saves me lots of time. I can tag subsets of an upload, load to multiple sets, ab initio and organise things all at once.
Titling is faster, as is commentary.
So, I put 19 new shots up.
Here are a couple.

Date: 2009-01-11 08:37 pm (UTC)What happens if I upload directly is a list of all of that, double-spaced.
I go through and pull out all the stuff I think extraneous, and leave in more than most people need.
So yes, it's all there, but it used to be right there, where people who didn't notice the, "more data" link could see it.

Date: 2009-01-11 09:09 pm (UTC)What happens is (if you look at those great wodges of tech-data) the list gets cut off at, "Hue 0°". Since the data I share is mostly below that, there's no point in keeping it.
If you want, I can explain what all that stuff is, and why one might care, or not.
