Sort of; for those who wonder what I look like these days, this is close... lose the beard and add a little to the hair.

For those curious about the thing around my neck, Knittery is a log of its making.

then again, you look like someone I'd like to meet.

I feel I already know your spirit/personality from your LJ and ML. And your appearance hits a lot of the reasons I fell in love with my Dr. Paisley. I AM polyamorous, I love my hubby deeply but we can make arrangements if every sez it's okay. Just saying.

very handsome, sir. you look like you should be painting in a garret or wielding a foil somewhere in the name of King Louis!

It's not just you. But I suspect it's not the room temperature either :-)

A rapier, perhaps. Foils are a bit delicate for serious work. :)

You, my dear, are biased.

But the room wasn't cold when you took the picture.

but much more bendy! it's all about the bendy if you're in a swashbuckler epic.

There's also a lot more hair on my head. When you saw me it was less than a month from my last haircut. This is almost five months past that. The facial hair started that Monday.

I thought swashbuckler epics were all about the dashing moves, clangy noises and pretty girls/boys getting together (not later than the last reel).

All of which sound good to me.

No, no it wasn't. At least, *I* was feeling rather warm...

And you, my dear, are outnumbered. :-)

There is no remotely clean remark I could make here...

Because you don't want to be anyone's foil?

Curses.

Man, your hair is longer than mine now.

Shouldn't the woolen thing go the other way to keep your neck warm? Or is it purely decorative?

I can call in reinforcements on the issue of my hypothetical bias.

I'm still not seeing the problem.

It's meant to tuck into a motorcycle helmet chin-piece, but I rather think I overdid the "make it nice and loose" bit and need to steal it back and redo the neck a bit smaller.

Also, don't forget occasional singing! Although It's possible I'm just having Gilbert & Sullivan flashbacks with that one.
