I ran the genderanalyzer on this, site.

Results:

We guess http://pecunium.livejournal.com is written by a man (51%), however it's quite gender neutral.

Which pleases me.

It's fact v emotion oriented I think: my blog (on books), 61% male. My lj, more emotional, 58% female.

So nothing to do with gender, just the prejudice of the compilers.

For giggles I ran my flickr past it... 100 percent male.

As I recall from complaints about the last one, active voice, and longer words, made one more male; as did politics.

I tried it for my own and number of other journals I read, and got 3 males at >80% female, and 1 @ 100%. I think fjm's reasoning (above) about their criteria may be dead-on.
