Having done the kitchen thing while doing the school thing as a kid both before the military thing and after, I liked it so much, even the mess cooking, that I had to flip a coin to help make the decision of which school to go to after the Navy. I ended up in tech school, doing as a livelihood what I always thought would be a life long hobby. Now cooking is more the hobby & diddling electrons has been the income thing.
