For those who are following along at home.

So far I've covered, when all is said and done (which includes the false start) a nominal 3,364 miles (from city center, to city center, with no detours, side trips, etc), and more on the order of 3,500 (as I recall the odometer, should have made note of it when I left, I do recall thinking, I want to say on the second start, that I'd passed 45,000, because when I bought the bike it was at 42,700).

The traces is Palo Alto to Silver Spring, with PA to SLO at A and C

I'd include the map as a graphic, but the link seems to break in Dreamwidth, and Lj.

Now I have to gear up, so I can move the bike, lest it get a non-area permit parking ticket.
