I'm not dead
Dec. 8th, 2005 03:04 pmStill in Coronado. The BOQ (where I've been staying) has no connectivity. Today I managed to drag the laptop (which is being very strange, so I may have to do a complete reformat, instead of just re-installing the OS, which is what I did last week).
It's been a very busy, slow, week. As a translator, I wasn't needed. As an escort, and problem solver, I did yeoman's work.
I will be going to Kiev again next July.
I've been watching the sun rise over the Pacific (Coronado is a penninsula, with an ocean lagoon).
Tomorrow I will drive back to LA (in the morning, sorry
ckd).
Sat. I will make the trip up to SLO.
It was odd getting a weeks worth of lost comments as well as the few leftover ones, and thinking they were all familiar (because I'd seen most of them by being attentive.
