Now we see if this works. Though sadly I have only one user-icon at Dreamwidth, which is frustrating, as I've actually built a sort of internal map of what I use for various things. That will be a little tough to lose.

You should have 6 ion slots here and you can import your icons from LJ via the importer or manually reupload the ones you want and give them the same descriptions and then you can have them for crossposting.

You can import your icons to DW, although you might have to have a paid account to have a significant number. OTOH, I don't find $25/year to be a particularly onerous fee.

I've managed it. I don't think the fee is too high, though it does double my blogging costs. The hiccup seemed to be that I have eight icons, and so it won't let me just grab them all by default.

Then it choked on them for some reason, but I got it done. I'd like one more, but I can make ex-post facto changes for those which matter.
