Being barely present for the best part of a month means I've not had so much chance to engage in silliness (at least not here).

I am, for those who wish to conspire with me in the Cause of Unitarian Jihad, The Claymore of Sudden Enlightenment which seems to sum that up pretty damned well. I'd not have minded something like "Sibling Hand Grenade of Reasoned Debate" for the sheer irony of that image, but I got the first one, and it just rang a bell.

I've not seen any on your list! However, I'm rather envious of the following: Warren Zevon, John Parr (too funny!), Gordon Lightfoot, and Erasure. I'd also love to see the Judds, but I probably wouldn't pay for it myself.... ;)

I saw Naomi Judd at the mall once. I saw lots of country music stars at the mall, at the grocery store, at my office...but I never heard any of them live. Which is a bit odd considering I lived in Nashville for eight years, but I was totally over going out to small clubs and bars by then.

I have not heard of Brother, but if you like guitar and bagpipes, give Bourne and MacLeod a listen. Their "Dance and Celebrate" album won a Juno when it came out. They immediately broke up, of course.

I Too have heard the Tuvan throat singers. They did "Red River Valley" for their final encore in Winnipeg (on the Red River of the North), and they brought the house down.
