Odds and ends
I am working on a photography workshop, "Nature in the urban environment" or some such. Sept. 26th (becuuse that's when the tides are favorable). More to follow.
In the meanwhile, some photos, and a reminder that one can purchase prints, or cards. Should one feel so inclined, there is also a tip jar.
The Lookout

I was heading back, and saw him against the skyline. There is a lot of "meerkat" behaviour in the groundsquirrels around the bay (I first saw it in 2002, when I was teaching at Camp Parks).
August 24th

I took pictures of this salt mound three weeks earlier too. Those were more delicate, this was more convolute.
Down by the seashore

It's probably an egret's underfeather. The mud is green.
All the colors of the rainbow B&W IR

The color version of this is very dfferent, with red water, blue sky, and the greens and yellows of the lanscape in between.
