More firefox troubles

I'm using the tabbrowser 1.3.1.1 plug in. For some reason it's suddenly decided to open all links in new windows, even though it looks as though I've told it to open them in new tabs.

So I have to left click, and open in new tab.

Any ideas?

I think the tabbrowser plugin has its own preferences; you might check there (it's usually under Tools > Add-ons then select the tabbrowser plugin and there should be a Preferences button). If not, check in the Firefox prefs (either under Edit or Tools; Unix-based systems use one and Windows use the other) and the Tabs selection. Tabbrowser might have automatically switched that when you installed it.

Not that I can find. It installs to the "Options" menu, and has a button.

When I look at it, the selection says, "Open links in new tab"

The frustration is, this worked just fine yesterday, and now it's borked.

Is there an upgrade for that plugin? FF recently upgraded and it may be a compatibility issue or needing to redo the preferences that got reset during the upgrade.

I don't use that particular plugin, but one thing that I usually try is to turn off the feature, apply, then turn it back on, and apply. Might be worth a shot.

I'm using 2.0.0.6

Why no upgrade?

tabbrowser is separate from Firefox and has its own versions.

I wondered about that, and assumed he knew that.

That's a very good question. The answer is, when I look for updates, it tells me there aren't any.
