Every time the guy saw Evelyn's dog, he thought it the height of humor to abuse her tail-wagging eagerness to please. "Fawn! Fawn! Teleport!" he would say, in that voice of command, like "Fetch!"

Then one day, Fawn did. Teleport, that is. On command.

Boy, was he surprised.
